We’ve just celebrated our 9th birthday! It’s hard to believe that it’s been 9 years since Gloria and Tania were sitting around the dining room table at Gloria’s house where they launched My Proposal Co. with their very first Instagram post! What started as a new business venture between two best friends, transformed into a full-blown operation with a dedicated team of full-time event planners.
Times have seriously changed since the beginning of My Proposal Co. We thought our 5-year update was impressive, but we can’t believe what we have achieved since then!
Over the past 9 years, My Proposal Co. have:

- Executed more than 1,500 proposals and romantic events!
- Made it through two years of a global pandemic (having to reschedule some of our client’s proposal plans more than 7 times as the lockdowns kept getting extended!)
- Brought another two My Proposal Co. babies into the world. Tania and Gloria now both have two beautiful daughters each and remain heavily involved in the business whilst being superstar mums!
- We expanded the team again. One event coordinator to assist the dynamic duo in back in 2020, became an Event and Team Manager and two full time event coordinators in 2022 (shout out to our dream team!)
- Developed partnerships with 5-star hotels across Australia including Pier One Sydney Harbour, The Langham, Melbourne, and Sofitel Adelaide.
- Appeared in many more media articles across Australian and International media outlets.
- Strengthened relationships with the best suppliers and jewellers in the industry. We ensure that our client’s get only the best when they propose with My Proposal Co.
- Executed multiple international proposals for our Australian clients. Most recently, they have taken place in Santorini in Greece, Queenstown in New Zealand, and Bangkok in Thailand!
- Expanded our onsite team in Sydney. We now have over 15 team members setting up the perfect proposal settings for our clients!
We owe a big thank you to our loyal suppliers, trusted partners and industry relationships. But most importantly, we thank our incredible clients who have trusted us with the most important moment of their lives thus far. Even 9 years on, we still get teary watching each proposal happen!
