Celebrating 10 Years of Love, Proposals, and Milestones at My Proposal Co.

My Proposal Co. is officially 10 years old! A whole decade has passed since Gloria and Tania sat around Gloria’s dining room table, launched our very first Instagram post, and turned a bold idea between best friends into what is now Australia’s leading proposal planning company.

What began as a passion project with big dreams has blossomed into a national brand, a full-scale operation with an incredible team, and a business that has helped thousands of couples begin their forever stories in the most magical way.

A Look Back on 10 Incredible Years

From our humble beginnings to where we are now, the journey has been nothing short of amazing. Here’s what we’ve achieved in our first decade:

• Over 2,000 proposals and romantic events executed across Australia and beyond!
• Executed 408 proposals and romantic events in 2024 alone, with 7 proposals on the same day becoming a regular occurrence.
• Navigated and overcame two years of pandemic uncertainty, including one proposal plan that was rescheduled eight times (we got there in the end!).
• Continued to grow our powerhouse team, from Tania and Gloria to a dream team of 7 head office team members and over 15 onsite team members in Sydney, and dedicated styling teams across the rest of the country.
• Strengthened partnerships with luxury venues and 5-star hotels including Pier One Sydney Harbour, The Langham, Melbourne, Sofitel Adelaide and most recently, Taronga Zoo Sydney!
• Took our events international with stunning destination proposals in Santorini, Queenstown, Hawaii, Bangkok and more, helping Aussies propose in the most breathtaking settings around the globe.
• Worked with the country’s most respected jewellers, stylists, florists, and creatives to ensure our clients receive nothing but the best for their big moment.
• Continued to be featured in national and international media, sharing the My Proposal Co. magic with the world.

What Hasn’t Changed

While the scale of what we do has grown, our mission has always remained the same: To create unforgettable, personalised proposal experiences that reflect each couple’s love story.

Every proposal still gives us goosebumps. We still tear up. We still feel the pressure (in a good way!) because we know how much this moment means.
