The Proposal:
Chris surprised Brooke with an enchanted Igloo proposal overlooking the Sydney Harbour! The Igloo proposal was perfectly private and intimate for the couple, allowing them to enjoy their love bubble after the special moment. How They Met:
Chris and Brooke met when they were both in year 8 (all the way back in 2009!). They went to different high schools but met through one of their mutual friends. they become really close and started to hang out all the time. They were best friends!
A year later then they were in year 10, they kissed for the first time!! After this, there was no going back. They had their first date at Bondi Beach to watch the sunset and each fish and chips. Little did they know, later down the track that Chris would plan the perfect Igloo proposal for Brooke!
How They Asked:
The couple were celebrating Brooke’s birthday with friends in the city for the weekend. Chris had booked a romantic room at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour and told Brooke they were going to a bar in Balmain before meeting up with the friends. Chris’s nerves must have taken over as Brooke says she was acting a bit strange in the Uber ride. He played it off as feeling car sick… little did Brooke know, he was feeling SO nervous! They got dropped off and began walking down a set of stirs. This is when Chris began to tear up and Brooke saw the beautiful Igloo proposal setup. She felt SO surprised and overwhelmed with happiness!
Chris led her towards the Igloo setting, got down on one knee and told her that he “has always wanted to marry” her! Of course she said “YES!”! They then enjoyed some delicious chocolate covered strawberries and sparkling wine as they took in the perfect moment.
