The Proposal:
After years of love that began with a simple gesture in class, Yu Ting knew he wanted their proposal to be nothing short of magical. Set against the iconic Harbour Bridge view, the rotunda was transformed into a romantic haven with a large heart-shaped frame crafted from white, pink, and red flowers. Candle lit and elegantly scattered petals, framed the area to create a soft and intimate atmosphere. The moment Yu Ting dropped on one knee, the photographer perfectly captured Cindy’s emotional reaction. Every detail was carefully curated to reflect their love story, one that was romantic, personal and breathtaking.

How They Met:
Yu Ting had originally planned to be in Korea on exchange, but fate had other plans. When COVID cancelled his exchange, it brought him to study on campus where he met Cindy. With each class, he found himself drawn to her, gradually inching closer desk by desk, hoping for a chance to connect. One day, when Cindy asked their teacher with a question about a research assignment, Yu Ting gently offered to share some helpful links. They added each other on Facebook and from that simple gesture, the rest was history.

How They Proposed:
Yu Ting thoughtfully planned a perfect day around Sydney, weaving in stops at places where he and Cindy had shared some of their most cherished memories throughout their love story. Throughout the day, Yu Ting captured each moment leading up to the one that meant the most…the spot of their very first outdoor picnic. It was there that Cindy had once playfully mentioned her dream proposal – a proposal surrounded by white, pink and red florals. What she didn’t know was that Yu Ting had remembered every word. That day he turned her dream into a reality, with a proposal that left her utterly speechless and emotional.
