Pawandeep and Aksheen had knew of each other for awhile, but had never once met…until one day, six years ago. To Aksheen’s surprise, Pawandeep had messaged her on Snapchat with a cheesy pick-up line that was initially off-putting. At first, she had ignored his message but eventually decided to reply. Had she not, they might never have built a strong friendship that followed. For two years, they remained close friends before Pawandeep finally asked her to be his girlfriend.

Their special day began with Aksheen’s closest friends whisking her away for a high tea experience. Using the excuse of picking up house keys, her friends brought Aksheen to the park, where her proposal was set up. Clueless still, she didn’t realise that proposal was for her until she heard Pawandeep’s voice. Speechless, she was gently led to the moment he dropped down on one knee.
In that emotional moment, Aksheen said yes and began was a beautiful new chapter in their journey together.
