Why should I hire a proposal planner?
You want everything to be perfectly planned, beautifully styled with complete attention to detail, which can be hard to achieve on your own. All our proposal planners are qualified in event management. We know the best suppliers, find the best locations and have a flare for romance, so your partner is sure to be impressed with what we create for you. We will work in the background to help you keep everything a secret by managing all the planning for you, so your partner doesn’t accidentally find out about your plans.
How does this all work?
Step 1: Complete the “Event Enquiry Form” on the Contact Us page so we have all your details.
Step 2: We will schedule a complimentary consultation over the phone with you and one of our senior proposal planners to discuss your enquiry in more detail (set aside 15-20 mins).
Step 3: Once you give us the go ahead, a deposit is payable (refundable within 24 hours) for us to take your booking and start exploring what is possible.
Step 4: We put together ideas and a custom proposal package for your consideration based on what was discussed in your initial consultation. Your feedback is welcomed at this point, and we continue to work together until the idea, budget and plan is ok’d by you.
Step 5: Once you are happy with what we have put together we take final payment and we begin planning everything for your proposal day!
Step 6: As your proposal day approaches, we schedule a final brief with you to run through all the details.
Step 7: On the day, our onsite team arrives to your proposal location and creates your magical proposal. You arrive onsite at the scheduled time and your partner says YES!
How far in advance do I need to contact you before proposing?
The more notice you give us, the more likely we will have your date available and the more time we have to get creative with your idea! All our available dates are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Depending on how complex your proposal plan is, we usually like to have at least 3 week’s notice. However, we have been known to plan proposals with only a few day’s notice, so don’t hesitate to contact us for last minute requests.

Where do you plan proposals?
We are headquartered in Sydney, Australia and we plan proposals all over the country, including regional locations. Upon special request, we also plan proposals for Australian clients who are looking to propose while travelling overseas.
How much should I budget for my proposal?
Our proposals are all custom designed to suit our clients taste and budget. We have worked on proposals with budgets from AU$1,500 all the way up to AU$20,000+. The more budget you have the more extravagant your proposal plan can be, so it is completely up to you what you want to spend.
We set a AU$1,500 minimum because we want your proposal to look a certain way for you and this is where you need to start to achieve an impactful proposal setting. During your initial consult we can guide you more specifically on a reasonable budget for your ideas.
Why do you specialise mostly in custom proposals and not packages?
Your proposal is an event that needs to be reflective of your personal taste and relationship, so we custom design it for you. We design unique romantic ways to propose, specifically for you, your taste and your budget. Because we custom design your proposal, your partner will be happy to know that you didn’t pick a generic proposal idea from a package menu.
I have a unique idea, can you help with it?
Yes, this is our specialty! With over 1,500 custom designed proposals under our belt we have accommodated a whole host of unconventional requests and our experienced event planners love to bring unique ideas to life.
Should I have a photographer at my proposal?
I haven’t got the ring yet, can you help me?
Yes we can! We work with some amazing jewellers who we know and trust. We base our recommendations on client feedback and the style of ring you may be after. Ask your proposal planner for a direct introduction.
