The Proposal:
Thomas surprised Chelsea with a gorgeous harbour-side proposal filled with white florals and a light up “Marry Me” sign. Thomas engaged My Proposal Co. as his proposal planners to make sure their proposal moment was magical! We helped him come up with the perfect proposal idea and had a professional proposal photographer to capture their special moment.
How They Met:
Chelsea first met Thomas in 2016 in a Darling Harbour night club. Thomas was running a weekly club night where they were introduced to one another by his personal assistant. Surprisingly, she was also a friend of Chelsea’s. At the time, Chelsea worked in a bar across the other side of the harbour. From that day onwards, they would meet up after every shift at 2am and chat for hours on end.
How They Proposed:
Thomas told Chelsea his friends had previously gone to a high tea garden party and that he wanted them to go there on a date. Thomas even went to the lengths of designing an event flyer for the “garden party”. That afternoon, the couple set off on their “date”. They walked along the foreshore of Sydney Harbour and up the stairs to where Chelsea first laid her eyes on the proposal set up. She said “how cute, someone is getting engaged today!”. However, when she turned to look at Thomas, he said “yep!” She soon realised that there was no garden party at all! She turned around and shouted “Oh my gosh, it’s me!”.
After crying uncontrollably out of joy snd surprise, Thomas walked Chelsea down toward the end of the aisle, to where he got down on one knee and proposed! Undoubtably, Chelsea said, “yes!”. Afterwards, the couple celebrated with a glass of champagne and a professional proposal photoshoot to capture their special moment.
