The Proposal:
Sam surprised Katie with hotel igloo proposal setting filled with flowers, fairy lights, candles, and a “Will you marry me?” sign. When he returned, they moved in and decided they knew they never wanted to be apart again. Ever since, the rest was history!
How they Proposed:
On April 16 2021, the day of their sons 1st birthday, Sam made a plan to propose to Katie. After opening gifts, Sam said “You’ve got an appointment with a makeup artist! A make mummy feel nice moment”. As they neared the city, he dropped Katie off with her family whilst Sam and their son searched for a parking spot. As Katie and her brother in-law walked to the appointment, he said to Katie, “follow me!” leading her toward a ‘surprise lunch’ at Pier One. Katie was immediately impressed. She thought to herself that Sam went to extreme lengths to make their sons 1st birthday special. The concierge knocked before opening the door and Katie could not believe her eyes! “Oh my gosh!” she said.
Sam was standing at the door holding their baby with the most magical view she had ever seen. Katie was shocked at the stunning hotel igloo proposal setting. Sam got down on one knee, saying the most beautiful words asking her to marry him. Shortly after, Katie said “YES!” accordingly. It was like a fairy tale and now Katie gets to marry her Prince! Eventually, the couple celebrated with a professional proposal photographer so they could capture their special moment forever!
