The Proposal:
Ian surprised Cara with this gorgeous proposal overlooking this breathtaking view of Orange. Specifically, this proposal setup featured pink and white florals and a circle frame including the words ‘Will You Marry Me?’. How They Met:
Cara and Ian first met back in 2016 at Cronulla beach in Sydney. Significantly, it was Cara’s first time swimming in the area. However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing as she was scarily surprised when she became surrounded by stingrays! Thankfully Ian and his friends were swimming nearby and came to Cara’s aid. Ian’s heroic moves made Cara think to herself “What a hero in swim trunks.”. Obviously, following the ordeal the pair talked and exchanged numbers. 9 years later, here they are today at their beautiful scenic Orange proposal. It really was love at first sting!
How They Proposed:
In order to disguise the proposal, Ian told Cara he had planned a surprise weekend getaway to Orange. To start the morning, Ian took Cara out to brunch for a relaxed start to the morning. On their way back, Ian took Cara on a walk through the backyard of their stay. Hiding in the bushes was the couple’s photographer and their gorgeous proposal setup that was located in front of a beautiful mountain landscape. With the perfect romantic music playing in the background, Ian got down on one knee and asked Cara to marry him! Cara said ’The proposal was flawless. What an unforgettable moment.’
