The Proposal:
Karthik surprised Ashlyn with an intimate proposal located perfectly in front of the Sydney Harbour. This beautiful setup included a red carpet leading to a stunning floral heart arrangement, surrounded by candles and flower petals that featured in led the words ‘Will You Marry Me?’. Through Karthik reaching out to My Proposal Co to be his proposal planners, together they were able to make all of Ashlyn’s Sydney Harbour proposal dreams come true!
How They Met:
If you were to ask Karthik where he and Ashlyn met he would say back in year 9 at the bus stop. However, if you ask Ashlyn, she would that all she remembers from then was a boy always watching her from the bus. Fast forward to 2020, Ashlyn was at a party and all her friends went to McDonalds. In the car park was a S15 which she admired and told her friends about as she loved it. Amazingly, it was Karthik’s. Finally, Karthik added Ashlyn on Facebook and sent her a message and well, the rest is history. Karthik and Ashlyn have been together since the 17th of July 2020 and couldn’t be excited for their future together. What a spectacular place to start their journey together, with a Sydney Harbour proposal.
How They Proposed:
This gorgeous couple celebrates their 4 year anniversary on the 17th of July. However this year it happened to fall on a Wednesday. So, Karthik and Ashlyn decided to celebrate on the upcoming weekend. Karthik told Ashlyn that they were going into the city to celebrate with an anniversary dinner. When Karthik picked her up he was waiting with a gorgeous bunch of flowers before they headed into the city. As they were pulling up Ashlyn recognised the My Proposal Co. setup but didn’t think it was for her. She stated to Karthik “Omg someone is getting proposed to with my dream setup”. Little did Ashlyn know this was all for her. As the pair started getting closer towards this beautiful setup, Ashlyn discovered that all her dreams were about to come true. What an amazing Sydney Harbour proposal.
