The Proposal:
Mitchell surprised Victoria with a romantic waterside proposal during the Covid lockdown period. The setting included red roses and petals, candles, and a “Will you marry me?” sign. Mitchell engaged My Proposal Co as his proposal planners in order to make sure everything went perfectly on their special day! How They Met:
Mitchell met Victoria on her first day of full time work in the building industry. They are both shy by nature so it took just over a year for their love to truly blossom. After about 6 months of knowing and working together, Victoria found herself drawn to him. His fun and happy personality was a big reason that she enjoyed work so much! As a result, the flirting started and it took a very loose team Christmas party to give Mitchell the confidence to plant a kiss on Victoria. Until then, they had always been great friends. Little did they know that they would become inseparable after that kiss!
How They Proposed:
Mitchell orchestrated a big decoy for the proposal with his sister. The plan was for his sister to take Victoria out and distract her while he was busy setting up. She didn’t realise it at the time, but it would be one of the most precious moments of her life! She walked down the stairs to come home and could hear her favourite song “Next to me” by Rufus Du Sol playing. The moment couldn’t have been more perfect.
They were together in their own space with a beautiful backdrop of the water. It was a moment of raw emotion and complete comfort while Mitchell bared all his emotions and got down on one knee. We can’t forget to mention that their little fur baby, Rufus, was wearing a sweet little bandana saying “Will you marry my dad?”. Moments after Mitchell popped the question, they were able to celebrate the waterside proposal with his family, who are so precious to them. They celebrated and their afternoon was filled with so much love and joy.
